Grown apart
How to end it
Where to start
A life of memories
Some old some new
How do you know
When it is through
It takes an effort
To want to try
It's easier
To say goodbye
You take the good things
Ignore the bad
People change
You can't get mad
Your life goes one way
And their's another
You no longer see
Or need each other
Your families grow
Your life matures
The steps you took
The time endured
Part of your life
And always will
With kids and marriage
And houses and bills
Things have changed
You cease to matter
Its idle talk
And senseless chatter
A blip on an email
And maybe a card
The phone calls and visits
You soon discard
Your growing up
You've grown apart
You know you should end it
